introducing:
Business for Acting Class!
ZBS INVITES YOU ALL TO ATTEND
“Building the Whole Career: Navigating the Business of Acting Beyond the Craft!“
Being a great actor is only one part of building a successful career. Understanding how the business actually works is the part most actors are never taught.
Led by Jenn Boyce, a former Talent Agent with 30 years of industry experience, this practical course pulls back the curtain on what happens as your career begins to grow—from building strong relationships with your Agent and Manager and landing that first big job, to navigating publicity, changing finances, long-term roles, and the career decisions that come with success.
Through real-world stories, candid advice, and lessons learned from decades behind the Agent’s desk, Jenn will help actors understand how to work with their team, make smart career decisions, protect their reputation, and think beyond the next audition or booking.
Whether you’re just starting out or already working, this course is about understanding the bigger picture—and building a career that lasts.

Jenn Boyce spent 30 years as a Talent Agent in Hollywood, helping guide the careers of actors from their very first auditions through major film and television roles. Throughout her career, she worked with and helped develop thousands of young actors, including Paul Rudd, Jessica Biel, Shailene Woodley, Nick Robinson, and Storm Reid. Today, Jenn brings that behind-the-desk experience directly to actors and families, helping them understand the business, make smart career decisions, build strong relationships with their team, and create careers that are built to last.
I’ve worked with him for four years. He’s passionate about what he does, and it makes us passionate. We’re a family. ZBS is a community…a second home
Whenever I get a script I always ask myself, WWZD—What would Zak Do?
During the camera tests and throughout rehearsals and filming on my Netflix series, “Julie and the Phantoms”, Zak’s work with our young actors provided them with the tools that enabled them to accomplish outstanding work. If I didn’t know better, I’d swear he was a magician
Zak speaks the language of the soul and is able to stir his actors on the deepest levels of artistic and personal transformation.
His connection to his students is unlike anything I’ve seen…the work is incredibly brave
Zak Barnett taught me to love my craft. Before I came to the studio I loved acting and I knew it was all I wanted to do, but I didn’t know why. I found myself in a place where I was giving good auditions, but I wasn’t feeling fulfilled. Going through his classes allowed me to find my own wants and meld them into one. I learned to love the art of acting and find joy in making something special, something only I could create.
He’s made a lot of impact and a lot of change… I cannot recommend him enough!
